Karma and Myrling
Myrl allows you to publish news, events, videos, places, businesses and much more, and to vote (myrl) items that other users have posted. But to myrl someone else's item, you need to have credits (available votes): we call them "myrls".
How do I get Myrls?
On Myrl every interaction gets awarded points: karma points and myrl points (myrls). The higher the karma the more myrls you get. The more time you spend in a virtual world and interacting on Myrl - submiting items, networking and getting myrl'd (voted), the more your karma rises. The more your karma rises, the more myrls (available votes) you have.
How do I feed my karma?
Here's what feeds your karma:
- LifeLog: time spent inworld
- Community Activity: places, news, images etc. posted on Myrl
- Social Networking: avatars invited by you that have joined the community
- Reputation: myrls received by other avatars
How does my myrling shape the Metaverse?
Each time you myrl on something you push that item up in the Metaverse ranking and more users will see it and myrl it.
Myrl Karma levels
As your experience grows, so does your karma.
There are 5 different levels of karma that you will unlock thanks to your actions inworld and on Myrl:
- Tourist 0-100
- Traveller 100-500
- Explorer 500-1500
- Adventurer 1500-4500
- Pathmaker 4500-on
You start as a Tourist wandering around virtual lands. But as soon as your experience of the virtual space grows your karma will progress and ultimately you'll become a 'Pathmaker', showing the way to the rest of the community. Let the exploration begin.
