In 1939, the World’s Fair came to New York. The fair gave visitors the chance to witness the World of Tomorrow, through the “materials, ideas and forces at work in [their] world”. The digital world now provides us with the tools, the creative force and materials to craft a positive future for all. One of leisure, mutual gain and individual creativity just like the Futurama would grant us. This is what Extropia hopes to be, and what it seeks to revive in the spirit of people. Extropia is currently governed by the Extropian Board of Directors, and provides homes, entertainment and events for those curious to visit and to live there.
